Deogyusan Muju Poong Gyung Pension.
To finish the series on traveling to Muju, we also have stayed at the Muju Deogyusan Poong Gyung pension. Which is a wood alpine style pension located closer to the Muju Deogyusan National Park and ski resort.
The pension is also located next to the Geum river,
There is both is both an outdoor and indoor (not shown) group BBQ area.
Booking was easy on Hotels.com. Though there was some confusion due to difficulty communicating when we arrived, everything got sorted quickly. I would recommend printing a copy of your reservation to avoid this.
We stayed in Room A 202 (One Bedroom). The room was nice and spacious for 2 people. My only complaint (And it is a common complaint for me most of the places we stay). The bed was too hard for me. I would recommend picking up a foam mattress pad to add a bit of softness.
As this blog series was a bit different for combing several trips to the area in one series I am sure you are asking which I would recommend? If you are looking for a getaway to BBQ outdoors with a your significant other or a group of friends and do not mind being a little further away from the ski resort or national park, I would hands down recommend The Flower Pension. If you are looking for connivence of being close to Doegyusan, then I would choose the Poong Gyung. Either way you can’t go wrong!
